New spring ice cream flavours and opening times change

Now that spring is here it’s so nice to see the cows back in the fields. They certainly seem to be enjoying the fresh grass despite all the recent rain!

We have also launched a new flavour at the farm. Customers seem to be going nuts for our pistachio ice cream, which is made with pure 100% pistachio and of course milk from the cows!

We have also brought back our lemon meringue flavour ice cream. This has been inspired by Halton turning 50 this year. After researching popular desserts from 1974 it was found that lemon meringue was a dinner party favourite around this time. This is the first of our special flavours for this year to celebrate Halton being 50 and it is now available as a scoop or in a pack to take home.

Other current specials include rhubarb & custard ice cream. This is made using British rhubarb which we lovingly make into a handmade puree which is rippled through the ice cream.

Our opening times have also recently increased for the summer season and are now Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays 12-5pm. Now all we need is some sunshine!
