Final week open for ice cream this season

The shop at the farm is currently still open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 12-5pm. This is our final week open for ice cream this season.

We have a great range of scoops and packs to take home with lots of Christmas specials still in-stock. These are available to buy at any time without the need to pre-order. 

Our final opening date before Christmas will be Sunday 21st December 2025. After this we will be closed for our winter break until Saturday 28th February 2026.

Which ice creams go best with desserts?

One question we are asked frequently in the run up to Christmas is which flavours of ice cream work best with desserts.

We can’t get enough of Christmas pudding served with amaretto & cherry ice cream at the moment. They real do compliment each other ever so well. For those after something more delicate then the Daresbury Dairy plain or a classic vanilla also work well. 

One of our favourites for warm mince pies is adding a scoop of salted caramel ice cream. Mince pie ice cream also works well.

Our best advice would be to simply choose your favourite!
